How To Create A Free Blog On Google Blogger Platform

If your new to the blogging world you may be wondering how to get started. This blog post will give you a step by step guide to create a blog using Google blogger platform.

There are thousands of bloggers on the world wide web that have built successful blogs. You don't have to be a tech guru or programmer to get your blog up and running. Many of the top ranking blogs on the internet today are ran by individuals with no technical knowledge at all. With the invention of drag & drop website creation, you can make a professional blog in 5 minutes. Follow the step by step guide below to create your new blog using blogger platform.

Create A Google Account

Step (1.) The first thing you will need to get started is a Google account. If you dont have a Google account already, you can register for free here Google account sign up. Fill in the information that google ask for including your name, email address, password, birthday, etc. Be sure to remember your email address and password because you will need this to log into blogger later. If you have filled in the form correctly, you should now be signed into your new google account. You may be asked to confirm your email address before your account can be activated. If that happens, check your gmail inbox and follow the activation steps.

Step (2.) Now that you have successfully created a google account, you can sign into your free Blogger Account using your Google account email and password. You should now be redirected to blogger dashboard screen.

Step (3.) Your logged into blogger now it's time to create your new blog. At the top left of the screen you should see a button that displays the text "New Blog", click on that link. A pop-up box should open with text input fields and template samples.

Step (4.) In the first input box your going to enter the title of your website. For example, if your blog is about dog training tips, you would type in "Dog Training Guide". The title will let your blog visitors know what your content is about.

Step (5.) Next you will see a input text box for you to choose your blog URL. This is the web address your visitors will use to be directed to your page. For example, "dogtrainingguide.blogspot.com". If the blogspot domain is not available it will display a message " Sorry, this address is taken". If your domain is not taken it will display the message "This address is available".

Choose A Blog Template Style

Step (6.) Now you can choose a template style for your blog. Browse the template choices that are available and select one. Once you have chosen a template you can now click on the button at the bottom right of the pop-up box that displays the text " Create blog". If the information you entered is accepted, you should now be redirected to the blogger dashboard to begin blog post. Congratulations! You have now successfully created your free blog.
