The million dollar question that every blogger wants to know the answer to is, how do I get my blog to show up in the number one spot in Google search results. The secret techniques I'm going to discuss will reveal exactly how you can achieve high search engine ranking.
Getting Google to use their spiders to crawl your website and index pages and post can be a tricky task. I know dozens of professional bloggers who suggest that "keywords" are the most important factor for ranking, which is true if your wanting to get better s.e.o for niche related topics and blog post. Throughout my career as a web designer, I've learned that the best chance of getting listed in Google search results using your blogs url is inventing a unique name.
Choosing A Unique Blog Url
Choosing a unique url can be more challenging than you think. The secret to finding a distinct webpage name that nobody has already, is to create your own. Good examples of this tactic are the famous blogs that you see online today including JohnChow, TechCrunch, Mashable and Engadget. All the sites previously mentioned above have one of a kind phrases, which gives them higher ranking in search engines because they have no competition. Make a list of unique names and try searching them in Google search engine. If there are no results matching your phrase, then you know that the url will be dominant in ranking when users search for your blog.
Choosing Unique Blog Post Titles That Include Keywords
Content is king when it comes to blogging, so your blog post titles can play an important role in search engine optimization. Dont make the mistake of copying and pasting titles you've seen on other successful blogs. This lazy technique will not help your ranking at all, in fact, it will do the opposite. Be creative and come up with your own unique title. If i were to right a column about the top pop songs of 2015, then my post title should include those keywords. For example, "Top pop songs of 2015 that went platinum". Any individual who searched google for the phrase, "Top pop songs", would probably have a good chance of running across my blog post because my title would rank high for those specific keywords. Remember that every successful blogger has put in the effort and hard work, so dont take the easy route.
